American E&O Insurance Services, LLC is in the business of marketing professional liability (Errors & Omissions) products primarily to Insurance Agents & Brokers. We focus on any type of insurance agency – retailer, wholesaler, MGA (Managing General Agent), MGU (Managing General Underwriter), Program Administrator, cover holder, etc. Our “bread and butter” is/are larger wholesale/MGA clients who may have a harder time securing E&O due to their size and/or lines of business written and/or claims experience. We also place cyber, EPLI (Employment Practices Liability Insurance), excess E&O and D&O (Directors & Officers) for insurance agencies and other “insurance related” risks such as TPAs (Third Party Administrators), claims adjusters, etc.
Many of the clients that will come on board with American E&O Insurance Services, LLC will be cultivated from a 20+ year prior relationship with either Amy Aeschliman or Lisa Turcotte, while they were both employed by Eastern E&O Brokers, Inc. It should be duly noted that neither Amy nor Lisa had any kind of restrictive covenant or non-compete agreement with Eastern E&O Brokers, Inc.
In addition to soliciting and securing our prior clients, we’ve also reached out to a number of our larger wholesale brokers who are interested in a “referral program” whereby they could send us a list of their largest retailers (many of whom are in the NY/NJ metro area) which is more volatile and, therefore, would elicit larger E&O premiums due to the nature of their business and larger focus on commercial lines placements. We feel we will have an opportunity to secure multiple new submissions based on this referral program that will allow us to grow substantially and secure an opportunity that we, otherwise, would not have had, if we had not had the initial relationship with our wholesale client.
Amy Aeschliman started Eastern E&O Brokers, Inc. from scratch in 1995. Just a year out of college, she slowly but surely cold called multiple agencies out of the NAPSLO handbook and then placed coverage for many large wholesalers/MGAs who then referred other similar type agencies to her and/or referred their retail agents/brokers to her for their own E&O coverage. With Lisa’s help, Amy grew a very successful agency, which, at its best, placed over $7,000,000 of annual premium.
Since resigning from Eastern E&O Brokers, Inc. on July 12, 2019, Amy has been able to secure contracts with the majority of the markets and carriers that she had while she was at Eastern E&O Brokers, Inc. Eastern had an extremely solid reputation with markets and carriers in terms of complete submissions, reliability, responsiveness and an excellent track record of meeting contractual obligations including on time carrier payments, etc. It is our goal that American E&O Insurance Services, LLC have an even better reputation in the marketplace and with our clients.
We are very excited about the future! Contact us today to learn more.
